Always loved this pic of Andi Weimann after finishing the brilliant team goal against Liverpool, with nonplussed ****** Downing in the background.

The 24 pass move at Anfield which resulted in Benteke back heeling for Weimann to score was as good a Villa goal as I've ever seen. Also, Delph at home in the league cup against ... was it Rotherham? Lovely goal.

That was our trouble under him, any good result we achieved would quickly disintegrate within a week as we'd follow it with an awful result which set the tone for bad runs. For every 1-0 at home to Chelsea there was then a 1-4 the next week to Stoke. And of course winning at Anfield was followed by the 8 nil at Chelsea and a scarcely believable Xmas horror show that very nearly relegated us.
I promise I'm not taking the piss, I'm finding it very strange seeing so many Villa goals in one place. It's as if I've forgotten how to watch us score.
