Great News (as they say in advertising campaigns) Diego Costa's not playing.  Problem is Chelsea are and even worse so are we!.
Assuming Lambert's still there ,and of course he will be, we need to put in some kind of effort to,in some way, make up for the debacle of yesterday.

Im rapidly coming to the conclusion that Roy Keane called it right. The playing staff have had it too easy over the past few years. Fabian Delph
is always laughing and joking we are told. I wonder if was laughing and joking during Keane's training sessions? That would not have gone down well.
Grealish wasn't giving training his full attention. There may well be other examples. The club is being treated by the media as some kind of bad joke. The two people that got new contracts quite obviously should'nt have.

We will lose to Chelsea I accept that. What I cant accept in my many years of supporting the club is a complete lack of professionalism from those who matter.

Am I going down?. Yes I am.  Why?  Haven't got a clue!

In days of yore throughout my Villa supporting life you could usually rely on the team to pick up an unlikely result during a run of tough games just when you weren't expecting it. I woke up this morning and considered that this would be a game when some one pre-match would make a case for us springing an upset. That person won't be me. Anything up to 2-0 will be a moral victory for us, 3-0 about par and anything above that I expect Lambert to be packing his bags by 8pm. In fact he should be clearing his desk anyway but the owner can't see it.

They are going to batter us. Though as it is Mourinho and not say Ancelotti I suspect it will be 3-0 t them
