Collymore says....
« on: February 01, 2015, 03:49:26 PM »
Listening to the Arsenal match on T.S and Stan giving a few comments.
In short he said what we're all thinking.

- Villa's performance today - poor.
- If Benteke's not fit then don't play him.
-  RL; needs to sell the club NOW!!;  if you take on the responsibility of taking on a Grand dad of a football club like Villa then it's not just a case of pumping all your money into the club in two years then stopping.
- Sanchez; how is a player who looks so good at the world club suddenly unable to find team mates with passes.
- How embarrassed he is about what's happening with the team with 649 teams scoring more goals than villa.

He sounded well depressed.

I want the club sold as well,so does Lerner.
But, saying it, doesn't make it happen.
If we were to organise a protest march tomorrow, demanding the club be sold, Lerner would probably take part..
Selling isn't the issue.
There has to be a buyer, there obviously isn't, and until one comes forward we are stuck with the invisible man.

Lerner and the lack of a buyer is not the issue right now.  The issue right now is an incompetent chancer is still in his post as manager.

Sanchez had an awful game but he has played well prior to today. Not sure why he suddenly thought today was the day to do loads of long diagonal balls when he normally keeps it pretty simple.

Is Benteke not fit?

The no goals stat is shameful. Lambert has to go.

That is the point which seems to get missed a lot.

Lambert is not getting anything approaching the best out of what he has. Nowhere near, and it seems to be getting worse.

That team out there today looked like they do every fucking week - like they didn't know what they were supposed to be doing. Truly clueless.

That's a lack of management and leadership right from Lambert. He's failed on almost every front. Can't sort the coaching out (bullying, sacked right and left hand men, Keane putting up with it for a few months and then doing one), can't get the team playing.

He has moved on from "can't get the team winning" to "can't even get them scoring" now.

It is a bad joke which has gone on far too long.

Is there any extra point in this thread or can it move to the Lambert one?

100% agree.

So do I. Also, one thing  apparently can't be solved immediately but the other can.

Randy need to sack Lambert and bring in on until end of season ie Brian Little/Peter Withe with Gordon Cowans as no 2. Just for example.

As crazy as it sounds I'm actually all for this, although it bears a striking similarity to when Newcastle brought in Shearer? And we know how that turned out.

With such insightful comments like that it's no wonder Stanloi is stratching out a living for that shithouse of a radio station.
