away fans on saturday
« on: December 01, 2014, 01:17:17 PM »
3 coaches full stopped at Ramsbottom cricket club on Saturday. The committee have said thy were very well behaved, and are welcome back anytime we are playing Burnley, Blackburn or Bury.

It could easily be twice next season. They were also pleased at taking over £1400 more to the point!

Good to hear. As you say we may well have some new away adventures next season.

I stayed at home round the corner. Don't know which group of coaches it was either.

Im almost tempted to write a letter claiming to be from a Burnley season ticket holder about our incredible support.  ;)

Cricket clubs must be the new place to drink pre-match. This is Burnley cricket club right next to the football ground before the game.

I'll ask my best mate to do it. He is a Burnley season ticket holder.
Unfortunately he didn't make Saturday due to the birth of his first child.
Part-timer.

Yes, that was impressive to see: arriving at around 1.45 I presumed all the claret n'blue at the cricket were home supporters until a rousing rendition of 'My Old Man' started up.

Thank you to the Ramsbottom Cricket Club for your hospitality. Had a great afternoon there. The Bromsgrove Villa Lions and Longbridge Lions took coaches there.

Bromsgrove would definitely come again.

Stourbridge opened the pavilion for the visit of FUof Manchester or whatever they call themselves - and then beat them!
