Leicester (H) ticket offer
« on: November 28, 2014, 06:24:14 PM »
Might help save a few quid for anyone planning on going.

Quote
Our next home match is a Midlands derby against newly-promoted Leicester City.

The Barclays Premier League game takes place on Sunday December 7, with a 4pm kick-off.

It should be an exciting encounter, with both sides battling to emerge from the lower reaches of the top-flight table in time for the hectic Christmas schedule.

And we have a special weekend ticket offer - with tickets priced at £25 for adults and £10 for juniors in the Central Lower tier of the famous Holte End.

That's a £10 saving on standard adult tickets and £7 on junior tickets.

Historically, this fixture has produced goals.

The two teams last met in the Premier League in the 2003-04 season with Villa recording a 5-0 victory and running out comfortable winners in the reverse fixture at Villa Park.

That day, striker Juan Pablo Angel inspired a 3-1 victory, netting two early goals to add to Ben Thatcher's own goal.

Talismanic striker Christian Benteke will be back following his suspension and will be looking to follow suit.

You'll be able to see the likes of Gabby Agbonlahor, Brad Guzan and Angel's fellow countryman Carlos Sanchez take on Nigel Pearson's Foxes.

You can buy tickets in person at either Villa Village or New Street, on the phone at 0800 612 0970 or from our ONLINE BOX OFFICE.

Tickets are on sale from 9am on Friday November 28 until midnight on Monday December 1.

If they buy extra tickets for the Leicester game for friends and family, existing season ticket holders will earn double VILLA CASH for this weekend only.

Not to be ungrateful, but they should sell them for a tenner.

Seems like they're desperately trying to sort the attendance problem, worrying times indeed.

If they want to address the falling crowds then here's a solution, sack the manager, bring in someone who brings us at least a bit of hope, oh and a few shots.

Maybe, but I think it's more to do with a desperate attempt to cash in on Black Friday. Other clubs have deals too (I know this as I've got a Forest fan in the work Secret Santa so was perusing their website).

Historically Paul Lambert wasn't in charge of any of those teams so they weren't mind numbingly dull.

I doubt anyone in our marketing department is likely to say "this'll be shit, don't waste your cash".

Cannot believe that Chris Nicholl is not picking up a fat fee in retirement for endorsing that ad campaign.

some tickets on Viagogo for £10 http://www.viagogo.co.uk/astonvilla/Sports-Tickets/Football/Barclays-Premier-League/Aston-Villa-FC-Tickets/E-670773

Got mine with a plum seat in the Trinity - up in the Gods but will wander down until I am sat by another human being in A2.
Great view but not much singing (or swearing, or heart beat for that matter)

How much are they paying fans to turn up? A tenner? I think it would take a lot more than that to get anyone to watch the sort of shit we serve up

There was a good piece by a Man City fan standing up for those of us who attended on Monday night, it may have been posted on another thread? We're doing it for you sensible people ;-)

Although I think you attend Richard?
