This might mean that some of the Spuds players will get some bans because from what I could see it was pretty much all Spurs causing the agro.

I hope the Villa list all the incidents and ask why they were not red cards.

Depending on who these theoretical bans were against, even that could end up working against us if Spuds end up fielding weakened teams against those around us.

None  of this would be happening if the ref had dealt with the first studs up two footed challenge properly and sent the Spurs player off. So now we will get punished again for something that was totally avoidable had Swarbrick done his job correctly. I have emailed the Premier League asking for an explanation but doubt they will reply. The main point is that we lost 3 points and our top striker for 3 games because of the officials incompetence.

Easier for the FA to charge the clubs and get a couple of fines in the bank than it is for them to admit the referee was shit and caused most of the prblems.

What no action against Mason? Unbelievable.

You could go earlier than that, with the arm in the face of Benteke.
The ref even acknowledged to the player that his arm was in the face when he gave the free kick.
I wonder what would have happened had Benteke thrown himself to the floor, a la Suarez, when Mason nutted him?

But this doesn't bring back the 3 points we were robbed of due to the refs incompetence.

I know most people disagree but when I finally saw the footage of the incident I didn't think Benteke deserved to walk. It was a very tame push off. If that is 'violent conduct', blimey.

I remember Lee Hendrie being sent off in a very similar incident. Makes you think that if a three match ban is coming you might as well of done a 'Dion Dublin'!

No, we lost our striker because he couldn't control himself. We lost 3 points because we weren't good enough to beat the opposition.

The ref was a dick though,  I'll grant you that.

Seems weird the FA doing that when you see similar handbags most games, yet they took no action when Hart pushed his face into the refs in the earlier match. It is almost like they have decided to stop the Respect campaign.
