All a bit fucked really isn't it.

The point about the referee probably being scrubbed from the next set of league fixtures if that had been at Old Trafford or Stamford Bridge  is a very good one. On the way back last night, we put TalkSport on and they were whinging about the ref's performance in the Manchester derby yesterday and complaining that Mark Clattenburg should have been in charge of it. This was about half hour after another premiership game had just finished with equally debatable decisions in it.

Good summary Dave as per usual.

When were we last good at game management? Gregory maybe?

We would have stood a much better chance of seeing the game out with Benteke on the pitch. Him not being there for the corner, taking his position in the zone right where it ended up for Chadli, being a pretty obvious example.

Even with 10 men, they still didn't look like scoring. Birng back Senderos.

That makes it worse, they didn't look like scoring and they still scored two.

Gregory was there in the stands and was receiving a lot of praise off villa fans

Wish we had him back TBH. At least he had some passion

The Daily Express(a London paper) describes Spurs performance as 'tepid and weak of spine'. Even after Benteke was sent off we should have won at a canter. We didn't, and that says a lot about the personnel and management and for that matter the tatics employed by the
manager. And guess what?....nothing will change!

I don't see how anybody can blame the manager for the winner.

No the second goal was down to Sanchez being indisciplined. The first goal was down to Agbonlahor being somewhere where he shouldn't have been.

Nothing to do with Lambert at all.

Commenting on performances lately is like trying to think of new ways to express condolences.

We generally saw out games well under MON iirc.

We were doing it well enough two months ago. That's my biggest frustration under Lambert - once we do something well we suddenly stop doing it.
