To be fair Eric gates goal down B6 in 81 was both sickening but superb rolled into 1.

Le Tissier at Villa park. He took on about 3 players and spanked it in the top corner. He scored a few at VP though, so finding which brilliant one might be tough.

Was late on. And another one of those moments when I said about 3 seconds before oh fuck hes gonna spank this in. See Sherwood for Spurs as an other example of such.

I remember this one from Le Tissier it was our first home game of the 94/95 season I was sat in the Witton Lane that night as soon as he hit it I knew it was flying in the top corner.

I reckon it was the year after that one, because I am sure I got a proper deja vu from it.

Matt Jansen's goal for Crystal Palace when we beat them 3-1 and the goal was a consolidation. Couldn't find a You Tube video of it though.

    1 hr 6

Memories. I think that was when we were going nowhere in the league, Gregory took over and with 11 games to go, won 9 and drew 2 to get us into Europe.

Les Ferdinand scored an absolute screamer against us for QPR on the first home game of the 93/94 season.  We won the game 4-1 though with some screamers of our own.

Missed that goal as was getting a drink. 2 late goals from Atkinson and Staunton. Wonder strikes.

Anyone got a link for that game?

Most comical goal I remember was Norwich at home, 1994-95 season. They have a corner, Bosnich comes for it with no chance of winning, misses it, Norwich player hits the post, Kevin Richardson clears it, Norwich player hits the bar, Villa player clears it, tremendous scramble before Norwich player scores finally from header.

If we are talking about Norwich goals at Villa Park there is only one that immediately springs to my mind and it was about eight years before that.

You can take your pick of any one of about 500 Le Tissier scored against us.

Van Persie's goal season before last probably one of the best last few years.

I don't consider that a goal as it was off-side.

Annoys me every time they show it.

I tell you what annoys me, The amount of goals they show on tv that are scored against us, like oh here's some twat lets show a montage of about 4 goals past the Villa

It wasn't just us to be fair. I always remember those two he got against a blue kitted Newcastle in the early days of Sky. The very early days of Sky when Jonathan Pearce used to urge us to "Come and have the crack on Super Sunday Talkback".

Can't really remember any goals scored against us at villa park. One of beelzebub's in his hatrick against us was quite good as I recall.

Not against us, but best goal (by a long way) by a non- villa player I've seen scored at VP was giggs's in the semi-final. Absolutely fantastic

More for the occasion and the timing than the quality of the goal itself, but if anyone asks me about an opposition goal at Villa Park the first name I think of is Paolo Rossi.

When I was posting about the Rossi goal I honestly considered adding a bit about Ronnie's screamer into the top corner. ;D

And let us not forget Mark Walters little dance after scoring the opener.
