When Europe first went up by a point, the Golf Channel conveniently forgot to show the score as they went to the ad break....

I genuinely hope the USA team can make a game of this,
i'd rather be going into the final day all square than be 4 or 5 points ahead

I'm with you.  It is exciting to watch when it comes down to the singles and the last match or two, but honestly the tension is unbelievable.

I played golf last week for the first time in about 12 months and the tees were a little backed up meaning we had people waiting as we took our first shots.  I was literally shaking on the first tee, one of the most nerve racking things I have ever done, which is ridiculous.

Back from a school DofE trip and have just caught up on events; good day.
I've gone for Europe by 3 or 4 points.

Nah, I love a bit of tension, not keen on dead rubbers
If we've all but won it by tomorrow night the Americans won't give a shit, they just shrug and head of back to the states, if they lose on a cliff hanger, they will be proper pissed

good first day, could (and should) have been a bigger lead but Garcia and Mcilroy struggled and Bjorn and Kaymer really should've won from where they were.

All that said, the putt by mcilroy on 17 and the 2nd shot by Garcia on the last were something a bit special, 3 and 2 (respectively) in the shots of the day for me, behind Bradley's 2nd on the 16th in the morning session.

After their display I find it bizarre that McDowell and Dubuisson aren't playing in the morning foursomes.

It's fourballs this morning Mr Winch; I guess they may be paired again this afternoon though.

Reed's wedge-drive at the first made me chuckle. All golfers have been there!

If Europe go in tonight 4 points ahead, they might as well not bother tomorrow.
It'll be a forgone conclusion with the shit golfers America have got
