Ryder Cup 2014
« on: September 02, 2014, 03:51:12 PM »
I see that Luke Donald has missed out as a wildcard pick for this months competition, the 3 x wildcards being:Stephen Gallacher, Lee Westwood & Ian Poulter.
They will join:
McIlroy
Stenson,
Dubuisson
Donaldson,
Garcia,
Bjorn,
Rose,
Kaymer
McDowell
As usual looking forward to a great competition.
Who will win???

Donald is unlucky but you have to pick Poulter, the passion he has for Ryder Cup is amazing and he rarely fails to deliver.

Europe win again I reckon.

I think Donald knew what was coming - Gallacher was nailed on I think, he's a Scot and is in form. Poults was a given. Despite playing average golf recently, Westy has shown glimpses...
USA to go for Bradley, Webb Simpson and Mahan.

Love this, I just hope Europe wins as it is lovely beating the Americans... I don't know why it gets so competitive but there is not much else that compares to it.

Saw most of the excellent "Miracle at Medinah" the other night (on The Golf Channel IIRC) - Martin Kaymer was hilarious - he kept saying that he couldn't remember anything because he was so excited.

Go Yurp!

As we're approaching the Ryder Cup I thought it would be appropriate to post this.....

Anyone else growing weary of Tom Watson's inability to understand a Scottish accent?

I am certainly growing weary of BBC's very infantile hype - symphony of Medinah, what a load of utter tosh. The fact that I can't stand golf may have influenced my views on this I admit!!!
