Think we are due a defeat at anfield and a win at home against arsenal. Could be in line for a point at chelsea, maybe lose v man city, so i think 4 points but hope for more certainly.

To get something from the two home games would be a huge boost, not just to the points tally, but also to the morale of the supporters. I'd take 3 points, in the form of three draws as opposed to one win and three defeats. Just hope we come out the other side with our chins up, injury-free, and ready to get on with beating the sides we should be/need to.
Onwards and upwards.

I think we'll get something at Anfield. Their central defence still looks suspect. A headed goal from a set piece from Senderos I can visualize.

I would actually take 3 from the next 5 games if you include Spurs, who seem to have had a voodoo over us for a while now.

We haven't lost at Anfield for 3 seasons but we always expected a spanking - we have tiny bit of hope it will be 3-0 as usual I suppose - W
Arsenal - we deserve something against them - D
Chelsea - too big, strong and fast - L
Man City - too big, strong and fast - L

After signing a player two and half hours after the transfer window closed anything is possible, 13.5 points.

I can't say I fancy us against Chelsea or City, despite what happened last season. I think we could get something at Anfield and hopefully beat Arsenal.

Am actually looking forward to playing Everton the way they have started and we normally do alright at Goodison.

Liverpool to beat us 3-1
Us to beat arsenal 2-1
Us to lose to chelsea 2-0
Draw with city 1-1
I'll be happy with a single point though. Just no embarrassments please.

I am certainly not thinking "oh shit" which up until our re birth I was thinking best not turn up and take the penalty from the FA, but now chances are we wont get two points from the games but this lot will dig in and try and as a football fan , thats good enough for me.
Im actually looking forward to 20th September and its some time since ive had that feeling.
