Nothing wrong with it. Good laaarff and they should have more balls readily available. And Elmohamedy should have been booked for kicking the ball into the crowd.

Why? There were two balls on the pitch at the time.

Yeah, stop it. We've won about 5 home games in two years so pack up having a laugh. We were only winning at the time so of course we wanted the ball back in play pronto.

Can't you find something else to moan about?

I don't really get the difference between keeping the ball for 5 minutes & the away team scoring in the 95th minute, or handing it straight back for them to score in the 90th?
It's down to the team to see out the game, the referee to add on time or not oas required, & as paying customers - we only need to enjoy our day out.

Well said, there's been an increase in this holier than thou "what kind of fan are you?" nonsense on here lately.

We played well and won, why would anyone get so annoyed about something so inconsequential?

It was hilarious when that Hull player finally got the ball back and as belatedly another had arrived he just booted it back into the north upper.

I think the only issue with this is it must have made up a large chunk of the five minutes stoppage time as no way was there five minutes delay in the second half.

The five minutes was about right. The fans in the corner kept the ball for a good two minutes overall and they must've spent at least the same amount of time kicking Grealish. Take into account the goal and the numerous subs and I don't think we can have too many complaints.

Also, I don't see why we can't have balls back instantly like what recently happened in the World Cup.

That's actually pretty unfathomable as to why we don't do that.

Look, if we were losing, even the biggest simpleton wouldn't keep the ball. No damage has been done and it's highly unlikely to. Can't we just enjoy a win for once?

Does seem very old fashioned.

I fully expect that in the event of us losing a game, all ball boys are suddenly equipped with a ball. It's how it works.

It was mildly amusing until Ron Vlaar started to get pissed off. Then I think a fair few people shat themselves in the Lower North

At one point the ball went into the North stand and Guzan gave a 'take your time' signal to the crowd. Then appeared to blame the fans when the ref had a moan to him. In a 'nothing to do with me guv' way. I thought it was quite funny.
