On the subject of Liverpool looking at the betting tomorrow, Hull are a very tempting 7/1 to win at Anfield. The way they're playing, it might be worth throwing on your coupon.
That looks a bit tempting. Add on Jelavic to score and there might be some nice odds on that.

Jelavic, and Dawson, are apparently out for up to 6 weeks, so I wouldn't bet on him scoring.

Oh. Nice of Sky bet to take them off the betting! ha ha.
Actually I think a centerhalf is probably a good bet for one of Hull's scorers. Liverpool are dreadful at defending set pieces.

Personally I preferred the way Lamella fumbled the ball in to the net at the end.

Figured I should save you your money!

Curtis wouldn't be the worst bet in the world.

True, he has potential at either end of the pitch.

I'd bet on Hernandez heading in a Robertson cross or a Sktrtel own goal.

As for first goalscorers in that Liverpool game, Diame is a very generous 16/1 with Skybet.

I too had no idea it had a special name. That's the fucking hipsterisation of football, that is. It is getting worse and worse.
It's not - it's the FIFAisation of football. A hundred different skill moves with each one needing a different name if the language didn't have one already. If it weren't for FIFA games, rabona would still be a fairly obscure world used occasionally by Spanish commentators.

So consider yourself part of the disease, not part of the cure *winky face*

What gets on my tits is when people start refering to players as a Treqaurista or a Half-Back because they've been added as new player roles in football manager.

All the Spurs supporters I know on Twitter had a huge rabona after the Lamela goal.

Its a good goal but as far as Rabonas go this is the gold standard:

Yep, that one's better.

I thought that 'Rabona' might have been the name of the player who first scored using this method. However, I see that it's actually a dance step (which is not a subject I know anything about).

My son performed a fake rabona (I had no idea what one was until then) in his game on Saturday and drew a round of applause and was given the first ever 'skill of the match' award. I still don't know how he did it but it was bloody impressive and effective, I reckon Lamela was watching.

The Europa League is an absolute farce.
Don't agree. Just look at Atletico Madrid a team built on success in that competition. I would love us to in it every season.

Not sure I fancy 5pm Thursdays and 4pm Sundays most weeks. Not my scene.

The UEFA Cup was a great competition, don't think I've watched a Europa League match for 2 years now.

That's ok. I expect you not to moan if we don't qualify this season then. Deal?
