Club Shop Sale
« on: June 06, 2014, 10:23:02 AM »
2013/14 home shirts £5, cheap training tops etc. Some real bargains.

Not worth looking if you are "Medium" or "Large", but if you are larger (XL and up) you will do well - really cheap bench coats etc. There is some kids stuff also:

We are about to sign Franck Ribéry, which is the real reason he is going to miss the World Cup - the contract negotiations will be so lengthy and intense that he wouldn't be able to manage them along with the rigours of tournament football.

Those shorts had already been prepared for him, but were the wrong size, which is why they were available in the sale.

Keep it under your ITK hat though.

I feel robbed. Paid £8 for one of those kids shirts only 2 weeks ago, now they're a fiver. Is this the deflation the ECB warned us about?

Got a poppy shirt today, well happy as i've been after one for ages! Ok so it's Bowery, but it is signed. All that matters though is it's a poppy shirt!

And it's very strange going into the club shop, both in town and at VP and seeing empty walls where the kits usually are. Virtually nothing left at either of them when I was in earlier, replica kits wise and most of the Macron stuff had sold out as well.

Possibly. They may have held stuff back to sell tomorrow as they've advertised selling stuff off on both days. There was still some training stuff, coats etc. And plenty of the 3 different goalie shirts. As it's not far for you i'd say go. I probably wouldn't recommend anyone who lives much out of Brum going though just in case.

A word of warning - if you usually buy large size, order medium instead.

Went to Villa Village today. Not much left. Plenty of players tops for £25 but mostly the likes of KEA, Bennett, Bowery, Helenius , Clark, Johnson, Sylla.
No new stuff in at all yet.
Mansfield tickets still on sale .
