I think the full backs have been fine.

Jack hasn't adjusted to the pace of the league yet, McGinns little party trick of dropping his arse and spinning the opponent has been sussed and the striking options have so far, been ineffective.

Come on Jack we need you to be better, and you absolutely can be.

He looks sorely lacking in confidence at the moment.  Doesn't deserve his place in the team on current form.

He hasn't been great and needs to find his mojo but suggesting he doesn't deserve his place is a tad ott I think.

I think as long as ,he knows he can be rotated like C H he will improve at this level.

Jack excels when he has players around him that are on his wavelength. Too many times today there was a distinct lack of movement and players in front of him not looking for the ball in space. He works well with SJM, Jota and I think he’ll work well with Luiz, but we need to see more from Wes, Trez and AEG...once they improve then we’ll see improvements in Jacks game too.

Watching it live I thought he was poor today but then if you watch the couple of minutes highlights he plays a part in every attacking move. Which shows how important he is to the team even on an off day.

If anyone needs reminding how good and how influential Jack is in this team, then simply cast your minds back about 10 months and how useless the team was without him. We haven’t signed anyone this summer to suggest something similar wouldn’t happen again if he was dropped or injured.

He needs to up his speed of thought and action. And, he needs to demand more from his team-mates re movement off the ball.

It seems to be all or nothing with people on here with Grealish, and i wondered how long it would be before someone from the 'church of Jack' brigade started churning out the  'it's everyone else's fault he played crap' line again. On the other hand, it's way, way too early to suggest he should be dropped, it's not like we've got better options or even ones proven to be close to his standard in the same sort of position. He's done well enough for us over the past couple of seasons to have credit in the bank to be given time to get up to speed in this division, as i suspect a fair few will need. I think any harsh criticism is unfair now and for a little while yet, but it is also fair to admit if he's not done himself justice in a game.

Personally I thought he was fine today, the odd bit of sloppy play aside, and he’s getting used to those around him. Set up the goal, should have scored himself and set up numerous other chances. He drew several fouls as well which if Atkinson was doing his job properly would have seen Billings sent off.

I agree. Dropping our best players is not going to help.

Flipping heck. Totally OTT. I can think of another 6 or 7 players who I’d drop first

Well, that would be relevant if we were playing 6 or 7 players in midfield.

He really didn't look that bad to me yesterday - but SJM has got to find a new party piece to replace the bum roll. He was found out on that one yesterday too often.
