I am in the camp that thinks that Jack is an exceptional talent and could go on to be a great player.
When you look at what is being paid for average talent we should be looking at 30+ a sell on fee.
Given a choice I would sell any of our current squad if we could keep him.

A loan back to us for the season would easily be the best option, but can't see that's a realistic possibility unfortunately.

That would be a cracking idea all round, really. As long as they promise not to send Onomah back, as well.

I thought he played very well towards the end of the season. No?

In my view, no. Also, I would rather select our own young players ahead of somebody else's.

If he was ever played in his favoured position, he would have been an assest.

This.  He has represented England at every youth level, flourishing in a Deep lying Central Midfield Role.

I must be the only one who thought Onomah was genuinely utter toss in any position. I'll stand corrected if he actually makes a go of it at Spurs or another Prem club, but I highly doubt he will.

I think he was mostly just... okay. I don't think he'll ever be good enough to compete for a starting place at a team that now expects to compete near the top of the Premier League, but he'll probably be good enough to generate a fee of some sort when sold on to a lower-PL/upper-Championship sort of team.

Iím in the same camp as you and value him as you have 30m +

but itís as Risso has said, unless we get 2 or 3 clubs wanting him the price unfortunately will be whatever the buying club (spurs) wants to bid

then we (Villa) have to decide if itís good enough to make a difference

He played left, right, no.10, played up on his own once up top. Should have played deep.

I have a feeling Levy will offer less than Jacks value, but will pay more up front because he knows how fooked we are.

If he goes to a club where he'll be a regular starter I can see him getting into the England squad and starting eleven before too long. Grealish, not Onomah.

I dislike Spurs so much.
That said, what is the bare minimum that should be accepted for Jack?

£20M plus add ons?

£30m plus add ons and even that is a give away.
Even Rondon has a £16M release clause.

I thought Onomah was a waste of space for most of his time at Villa, but I do agree that he started to look decent towards the end of the season.
