Apparently Alfie Perkins had a fall at Wembley on Saturday and is seriously ill in hospital with some saying he's in a coma. As odious and unacceptable as what he said in the past was, I hope the kid pulls through okay.

Whilst I don't want him to die, I can't help think Karma for celebrating the death of a 9 month old.

Karma II? He recently got ran over by a car and has fractured his head in two places.

Quite an unlucky kid isn’t he.

Unfortunately we all know that, inevitably, Jack and John will leave us at some point. May as well start getting used to that idea.

Like Jack was leaving for Tottenham.

One day they'll go, maybe, but on our terms and unlikely cheaply to a spent force.

Tim Sherwood was talking up Jack big time on Talksport this morning. He reckons Southgate has missed a trick in not selecting him.

Not often he talks sense

As England have qualified easily and Jack played no part, I would suggest it is very unlikely he will make the Euros squad.
Southgate is a meat and potato’s type manager and lacks imagination or flair.
All very well stuffing League 2 type opponents but you need more than that at tournaments against far better teams.

£60m? That will at least buy their training gear.

And we’ve got owners who can, and will, say No

They keep thrashing everyone, and have made the semis in the last two tournaments they've entered. Not really sure he deserves the stick you keep giving him.

You are probably right, I have to admit I don’t like the bloke, did not like the way he handled leaving The Villa and his pathetic thirst pumping stuff at Boro.
I give him credit for rebuilding the England set up but like previous England managers I think he will waste the talent he has available.

I prefer to look forward to the pair of them winning trophies galore with Aston Villa.

The lesser Manchester club are in decline they can no longer attract any player they want why sign for a club in decline when you play for a great club on the rise.
