The Run in
« on: April 26, 2014, 06:06:36 PM »
Awful day today after an awful Season. I will leave my thoughts as to the future of Lambert elsewhere

These are the remaining results in one place, as I got sick of googling them all the time.

Villa
Hull-H                  (1)
Spurs-A               (0)
Man City-A           (0)       36 Points

Sunderland

Cardiff-H            (1)
Man U-A             (0)
W.Brom              (3)
Swansea            (1)        34 Points

Cardiff

Sunderland-A     (1)
Newcastle-A       (1)
Chelsea-H           (0)        32 Points

Fulham

Stoke-A             (1)
C.Palace-H        (3)           35 Points

Norwich

Man U-A             (1)
Chelsea-A          (0)
Arsenal-H           (1)          34 Points

W.Brom

Arsenal-A            (0)
Stoke-H               (1)
Sunderland-A      (0)        37 points

So even with my pessimistic head I reckon Sunderland Cardiff and Norwich to go. However, what really worries me is that there's always a few freak results on the last day. Not with us, I'm sure, we'll get stuffed Royally.
It makes next week the biggest game in a long time!!

I disagree. With a population of barely 250,000 it's no bigger than the borough of Dudley which I wouldn't describe as massive.

Also the Titanic had a massive hull and was unsinkable and  look how that worked out.

And they can't even make up their mind where in the country they are. Is it Yorkshire, Humberside or East Riding of Yorkshire? It makes no sense.

Norwich will beat Arsenal, so we can but hope that Chelsea turn up against them. If we go down we fully deserve it.

Chelsea could be out of the title race and focussed on the CL, Arsenal will have secured 4th and have the FA Cup final to think about. This is Arsenal who could not even beat a relegated B Lose in a Wembley Final.

Norwich have lost 5 on the spin...can't see them getting 1 point from Chelsea / Arsenal let alone the 4 they need to catch us..(goal difference apart).

You can get 10-1 for Norwich to beat Chelsea a week tomorrow.  I may put a tenner on that as title race could be over tomorrow and Chelsea could be gearing up for the Champion League final by then.  £100 would soften the blow if we get beat by Hull.

Those results aren't gonna happen..teams at the bottom just don't all suddenly hit form like that...Villa for instance..
