Think it's only a £1 to get in the Aston hotel isn't it ? Not bad considering it's the closest pub to the ground
The swan and Mitre's also up for sale too.I imagine they've seen the impending reality of the Aston tavern really eating into their customer base next season.A shame,I've always liked the vibe in there,despite the 1980's feel to it's surroundings,and it's ideal for those of us North Townies whom use the train.However,they'll be one 12 year old chuffed to bits,my son detests the place,unfortunately I've made the basic error of meeting his friends in the Holte pub,spoilt forever.However they all love the 'Skerrratchings' fella outside the Trinity too,imitating it perfectly.
Does anyone know what The Brittannia is nowadays ? Looks like a curry house judging by some of the signs in the windows but never looks open as such ?
