I will really miss the H@V magazine, thank you to everyone who has put it together over the years and the match day sellers for giving up their time through wind, rain and occasionally sunshine, I will pick up my final copy at the Hull game, once again I thank you.

As we turn the last page,
Please let us not forget,
Those hardy souls of Hand V
That stood out in the wet.

With frantic cries to come and buy
This morsel of English Lit.,
An A5 compendium of Villainy
Wrapped up in honest wit.

The Legion of honest brokers
Who welcomed supporters true
Are now released to pasture
In fields of Claret and Blue.

Good work!

Indeed. Would expect nothing less from Christy Brown.

When was the first one? I seem to think I bought it at Forest opening day of 89/90, or am I miles out?

That was the one but we'd sold a few at Crewe the week before.

I bought one yesterday. Thought long and had about framing it & putting it on the wall but decided to leave it by the bog with all the other copies.

Dave. As Hull will be the last time we can purchase a copy at the ground will you be selling your copies outside the Trinity gates which if I remember correctly is where you started all those years ago.

No I will not. However, there may be a return of one or two of our former sellers.

I was hoping Mac might have returned from exile to take his place at the bus shelter for the last edition.

Good news, although I suspect it's a cunning ploy as I will now feel obliged to buy another copy.

I 'enjoyed' the article on the 2000 FA Cup final...in particular the 'please, please...' referring to Ugo rising to head the ball right at the end.
I remember that...

I hate football.
