I ca just imagine Moremoaningo being fine if Chavski were going for the title and someone fielded a second string 11 against their title rivals. The bloke is a hypocrite and an utter twat.

did you see one of his coaches in one of the games , a man possessed . Looked a right horrible bully twat

Mourinho had to restrain the fat little fucker from what looked like was going to be a full blown assault on the ref when Sunderland scored their penalty. Was at Roy Keane levels of ref intimidation.

Why isn't he being done for bringing the game into disrepute for the weakened team nonsense?

they can't until he actually does it.

Present and correct on both counts.

On the other hand it would be quite funny if Liverpool choked and the weakened team won.

All it'll be is a fine of £25,000 and a slap on the wrist anyway!

I didn't put that quite right. I meant for threatening to put out a weakened team. Surely that's enough.

I'm fairly sure that can no longer be an issue asthe ruling was changed. Any player who plays will be part of the first team squad pool of 25 and any manager could argue that he and he alone decides what is his strongest team.

I believe the ruling was changed when they brought in the 25 named players rule. So long as his side is made up mainly of anyone in the 25 he is okay. If he plays a load of under 21's he/Chelsea will be punished.

Ozz's point still stands. He's not done it, so there's nothing to answer for. If he does, then he might.

It's probably his attempt at mind games. And he'll sit there smugly pointing it out. While the rest of the world points out he's a twat.

He can actually field any side he wants, I still find it amusing the only sides ever hit for fielding weakened teams before the rule change were little Blackpool and Wolves.

"Three years ago, making such wholesale changes would have landed them with a five-figure fine but the Premier League amended its rules in the summer of 2011 following controversial punishments handed out to Blackpool and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Clubs are now at liberty to field anyone from their official 25-man squad list, in addition to some under-21 players."
