Where do we want to go next season?
« on: March 23, 2014, 09:33:02 AM »
Looking at the Championship, it seems that trips to Leicester and Burnley are highly likely, but out of the play-off pack of sides, where would you like to go?

For me it would be Forrest, but that smacking they took from Derby seems to suggest they may well struggle to come up. Wigan are hovering around too. Thoughts?

Like you, I'd prefer a Forest to come up. Proper football club, not too far away, and a ground I've not been to.

If they don't, Brighton would be my choice, in August preferably!!

That sounds a bit Yodaesque. I don't want to go to Wigan but, slightly off topic, what a great job Uwe Rosler has done there, thus far. But yes to Brighton go I would like too.

Brighton would be another ground to tick off the list. Not been to Forest for a few years either.

Forest for me for the same reasons as others have said, but it won't happen. Derby then, because it's close.

Forest or Derby.

Certainly not QPR.

Brighton for sure for me: just down the road and a great day out all round. The morning and lunch in town in the Lanes and then out to the ground which is in a lovely setting

Forest used to be an interesting ground to visit in the 70s. The walk back to the station got very lively when the Police escort disappeared.

The ones I would really like ain't going to happen.   Millwall because we can walk there.   Charlton to see Sailor Brown (two club legend) or Forest.   At Derby we could re-live Alan McInnally's goal drought ending and him getting his 21st of the season off their full back's arse.   Stanley blade time if its QPR.

Brighton for me too, however if they are not successful then Wigan as we always take a good crowd up there .

Leicester, Forest and Derby.

I don't mind QPR, that's an easy trip for me.

Wigan's OK but, as PWS will attest, I can struggle to find it on occasion.

Never been to Burnley, so that would be a nice change.

Looking at the top half of the Championship, there's nowhere that I'd be adverse to travelling to.

We really just need Fulham to pull themselves out of trouble.
