We were all stunned they wanted to televise us so much in March. It would appear it was to get our quota out of the way so we didn't intefere with their "most exciting title race/relegation scrap/race for 7th for years" in April/May when the bullshit really gets cranked up. It's nice to be irrelevant to some people sometimes.

Phew...... I ordered my Palace ticket this morning and when I saw this thread I was a bit worried that Sky/BT would want that potentially spectacular game.

Not being on TV in April could mean that Sky/BT see Villa as now being comfortable mid-table mediocrity; which is a good thing for now.

More likely we aren't playing any of the sky six - and 16 of their 17 games feature the so called sky six.

Good! I booked Saturday 1st March off only for it to get shifted and I miss a rare home victory.

Who calls them the Sky 6? And which 6 is this? Didnt it used to be the Sky 4? Did I miss the memo?

Numbers increase when members of Sky 4 end up in 7th place!

Remember the big five in the late eighties. Man u, Everton,  Liverpool,  arsenal and spurs.  Costliest tickets of the season.

When City won the lottery, I think.

When they had to find a way to still include Manure in their wankfest.

When they had to find a way to still include Manure in their wankfest.

Wankfest: the best descriptive football-related word of the decade.

And the above was an adjective wankfest.

The Sky 4 ceased to be when Liverpool tumbled out of it. This coincided with Citeh winning the lottery meaning one of their favourites had to miss out each season.

If you then throw in the love affair with Spuds, particularly when the illiterate crook was in charge there, and that is how it has become a favoured 6.
