No problems. We already have it in the bag. Time for celebration.

No.  We are Aston Villa - is this how low expectations have dropped?

It's been the plan for the last 20 years. We've lulled them all into a false sense of security. It's time to strike for home.

I think we should throw the game on Sunday so we can concentrate on staying up...
Sorry I do  not understand. Just who are you talking when you say concentrate on staying up?

...for us to win the league if Fulham beat Chelsea this weekend. If they do, we can't afford anything less than a victory over Norwich on Sunday or our brave fight for the Premiership is over. With 11 games to go and a 32 point gap, we just can't afford any slip ups.

Complacency is our only foe. It's almost been too easy so far.

We have nothing to fear but fear itself.

I was just thinking that I'd quite like us, in addition to "achieving" safety, to play our part in directly influencing the title race. I'd love for us to beat City and Chelsea in the coming weeks...but then I started thinking...who can we help to win the title? It's like holding a contest for the most endurable "c**t" in the room. They're all hideous, but which one is the least godawful. Very tough. I'd be hoping for a late flourish from Everton given then choice but that aint gonna happen.
I just hope we beat all the top 6 teams we've left to play, and a hope that Everton, the most bareable side in the top 7, will make a late stab for the title. What is for certain is that if City, Chelsea, Liverpool or Arsenal win the league, we'll be smelling their farts for a year and won't hear the chuffing end of it.

Other than that, helping to send down Norwich and West Brom would be pleasant.

Well another season of failure for us and Arsenal. I suggest we now go all out for second. Can't see anyone stopping us though.
