Interesting when he misunderstood the question about the manager who was the best player when joining in training. Thinking they meant 'best player in training' he said Stephen Ireland.

Was interesting to hear his comments about Richard Dunne, was sure he could still be doing a good job in the premiership

Bobo Balde in central defence, he's having a laugh there surely?!!! Is that Alan Thompson at left back aswell?

I was going to say where's Mellberg but then he had a half time bust up with Stan in one game didn't he? Also interests me Milner and A. Young both been ignored from the best seasons Stan had for us between 08-10.

SoccerHQ, not heard about the bust up with Mellberg, when was this?

Was working whilst watching, but didnt Henrik Laursen put Thompson left wing back, more likely position for me. Would certainly want Milner wherever over most of players lol.

Half time against Newcastle at Villa Park. We were one nil down, but shoved four up them in the second half.

I loved that game! Carew hattrick and somehow, Harewood changed the game when he came on as half time sub! If I'm remembering right, that is.

I seem to remember the Holte End singing One Kevin Keegan! Ha!

I think in some cases those Celtic guys must be really good friends of Stan. That's the only way I can fathom Balde being in the side. Interestingly I do recall us being linked with Balde when O Neill first arrived. There almost seemed a certain inevitability that we might sign him, much like the inevitability that we would one day sign Heskey.

As for Dunney, he's probably been QPR's best player this season. He's looked a cut above in the Championship, so he probably still could do it at this level. He's managed to stay fitter than one might have thought too.
