2014-15
« on: February 08, 2014, 07:29:40 PM »
It's highly likely that I won't be getting a season ticket in 2014-15 for the first time in around 16 years. What with the demise of the printed H&V fanzine (no requirement to sell any more), viagogo and the current cheap deal offers by the club I might as well do it on a single match basis thus saving money. Plus I won't have any wasted tickets when I go off on holiday. The insipid home performances I've witnessed over the last few seasons are also a factor.

Can't wait for 'the' telephone call...

Excellent news! You're notoriously unlucky, so you jacking it in is bound to coincide with a rebuilt midfield firing us along wih sexy football.

Sadly I feel the same Legion and I will miss where I sit but am just sick of seeing away teams taking the piss (and their fans)

And to add I love the Villa but games like the West Brom one don't make up for far too many like today

Their fans were singing "How shit are you we lose every week".

I probably won't be renewing. A large reason is H&V, as i'm nearly always skint selling the fanzine helped pay for it. Without that it gets harder to justify the expense. I'm also completely fed up of games being moved for TV. How crap we are doesn't really factor into it.

Yes, the games being moved for TV is also an issue for me.

I always feel like I can't be bothered with it anymore, but something in the back of my kind always thinks "what if next season is where we turn brilliant and win something???".

I'm moving to London next month so that'll be it for me after 10 straight years. I can barely summon up the enthusiasm to travel 3 miles to watch us these days, let alone 100. Even if I wasn't moving I'd probably only pick a handful of games.

If we got rid of Lambert I would reconsider but that seems very unlikely at this point.

The only reason that I'd renew is so that I can guarantee sitting next to the people around me. If it wasn't for the familiar friendly faces who become friends over the last few years then it would have been even more depressing.

Lambert staying is enough to put anyone off.

Innit

Anyone else and I'd have shrugged it off, but as it's Legion, I've just booked a hotel room for Cup Final weekend.
