Probably why he can use a more front foot questioning technique.

Can you remember how long Lambert blanked Mat Kendrick for?

I just remember it as longer than that but a lot was going on at the club at that point last season and very little of it was good.

Sounds like lambert is out the door after the final whistle of the spurs game.

Based on the press conference? He did sound moody, but then again maybe he was just shattered after all the laughter he did in training.

I just watched most of it, and he didnt look any surlier or moodier than usual, tbh.

When he's on the back foot, Paul Lambert has the body language of a passive-aggressive sack of cement. Impossible to read anything into it.

I've been very impressed with Mat Kendrick's pieces over the last few days. He's asking all the right questions so may be due another blanking.

He is indeed and you can feel his frustration. Credit to him for not taking the easy option, he's like a dog with a bone. I'm sure Lambert bloody hates him.

It took a big pair of balls to come out and say that Lambert didn't deserve a new contract.

it certainly did.

He's done a top job recently, it must take balls to risk alienating the single most important source of information in your job. Oh, and he takes some absolute bollocks from real idiots on twitter.

All Lambert needs to say now to drive a final nail in the coffin of his Villa career, is about the pressure being greater in the the old firm atmosphere.

Yes he's good at all this stuff. Shocking at match reports and tactical analysis though!
