More impressive than that i feel is the fact of how many of our youth team set up have gone on to become established, regular Premiership players

At Villa still and first team squad

Gabby
A.Weinmann
K.Clark
N.Baker
M.Albrighton

At Villa in and out of squad

G.Gardener
C.Herd

Other clubs and regulars

G.Barry - (he was a kid when he came to us so always treated him as a youth player)
S.Davis
G.Cahill
L.Moore (not sure if still at Swansea)
P.Whittingham
B.Bannan
L.Ridgewell

Half decent squad there - although one would have to play rush goalie  ;D

Didn't Boaz Myhill come through the youth system? He could be your keeper.

Pushing it a bit to include loan players I'd have thought.

I know, but Bent isn't going to play for us again is he?

I was thinking more of Walker and Cole.

Ahh, see where you are coming from, but both put in a better stint at Villa then some 'proper' players....Tommy Craig, Ivo Stass, Balaban the list is endless...

He could indeed!

Any thoughts of a Football league, ex-Villa team?

We could get them to play the Premier boys in my fantasy world!

If we are counting loaned players and Myhill, then Sturridge has to be included I reckon.
