Is the club doing anything for it?

150th would be more appropriate, in my opinion. Just hope I'm alive for the 200th.

I really hope they do, every decade should be celebrated at least somehow.

Of course, but 140 is still special.

Bloody hell, this makes me feel very old indeed, doesn't seem that long ago that we were celebrating the Centenary

You can't have a celebration for every anniversary. People get honoured as they reach their 100th birthday and deservedly so. Once you pass 100, people will get acknowledgment each year but organisations have to wait until their 125th or 150th anniversary. Never belittle anyone by comparing them to an organisation.

They will be having a cake and a few sandwiches when we get to 140 passes completed.

You've never been to a piss-up for granny or a distant aunt on their 60th, 70th and 80th birthdays? ;)

We do not have a date for the founding of our great club but we should mark it in someway.

To celebrate, both WBA and Birmingham are getting relegated.
