Do all of these TV matches add up to a significant amount of extra income for the club?  We're becoming the ManUre of the Championship!

No.
Is that because TV money is already allocated equally amongst clubs? I note that from mid December to mid January we feature 3 times so more than any other club.

Last year it was £100k for every home match and £10k for every away match televised.

Boxing day at half 7 is awful, we had this years ago against Stoke and many boycotted the game IIRC.

Should be rules saying you can't show live games past certain times.

I'm not sure about that in general but it is a bit late for a Boxing Day fixture.

On a weekend game the latest TV game should be played at half 5. You should not be starting games later than that. Obviously midweek it's different.

Edit: Probably one downside of being seriously in the promotion shake up is many of our games will be moved for TV just like if we were doing well in the premier league.

Bristol City 5:30 NYD?

I like the sound of that, more time to recover. I might even attend a New Year's Day game for the first time in about a decade.

We get £100k a game don't we?  Enough for Gabby's wages for two weeks.

According to Sky Sports website the Bristol City game is not a live match, so why is it a 5.30 KO?

Don't we play Forest on the Saturday before at that time.

I believe we can ask for permission for 48 hours recovery time. Stoke did it a few years back on Easter Monday, played them at that time despite not being on TV.

Unlike me then, as due to a curmudgeonly nature I drink less alcohol on new years eve than I do on an average school night.

I really can't be arsed with NYE. I would quite happily stay in but my friends won't let me.

I believe that Bristol City v Wolves is on TV on Saturday 30th at 5.30pm. They have therefore triggered the 48 hour rule. Wolves meanwhile have moved their home game v Brentford back to 7.45pm on 2 Jan to give themselves additional recovery time.

Ah right thought it was something like that.

I confused the dates as we're playing Forest away at half 5 on January 14th.
