Something to fall back on.
« on: January 20, 2014, 09:01:04 PM »
I am watching Forfar playing Rangers.   The commentator has said that one of the Forfar players is training to be a rat catcher.

If a Villa player followed the same career path who do you think it would be?

I asked my son and he said KEA.   My money would have been on Barry Bannan because he could chase them down their holes.   It's a tricky one.

I've got this image of Guzan majestically catching rats that Benteke is hammering at him.

Guzman was a rat catcher on Saturday. Although he didn't really touch him.

Literally the exact words that went through my head before I even saw your comment. It pisses me off to no end when he makes that mistake.

Totally off topic but I hate iphones and ipads for that feature.  I've never owned one as I like android, but I have to use them at work a lot and auto-correct is a truly awful feature.  The other one that pisses me off is that the keyboard always shows as capitals, fine when you're typing a message you can see but when you're entering a properly secure password with upper and lower case and numbers it's really annoying.

Sorry, on topic, the downing answer wins this thread regardless of anything that comes from here on.

I think KEA would make a good office clerk. Diligently going about his duties but thoughts of faraway Echo Beach always near the forefront of his cortex.

Nah, Downing would never work. You can't set a rat to catch a rat.  What you want is something similar to a ferret: small, fast and with a tremendous sense of smell...

Downing. They would think he was family.

Downing is a Weasel so by definition an ideal Rat catcher.

He'd be a shit rat catching Weasel though on the basis he appears to be pretty much shit at anything he does. He'd be the sort of Weasel you'd put into the rats lair after all the rats had been caught and so frustrated at this he'd start a fight with a female weasel. He'd lose obviously.
