Is this the Regis, Cunningham and Batson statue? I thought that had been unveiled a couple of years back. The irony of that statue is that two out of three of those players are Villa legends  ;)

1 is obvious, so might have missed something. Who's the second?

Regis is the one I thought was obvious, so who is the other legend?

They’re finally unveiling that statue today to celebrate all the amazing trophies they won in the late 70s and early 80s.

The one they spent ten years raising the money for, and then they had to be helped out by the PFA?

That'll be the one.

Despite a sell-out Birmingham (of all places) Town Hall gig by FranK Skinner, a substantial donation froM Sandwell Council, another one from a company wanting to do work for the council (allegedly), the proceeds of a dinner to celebrate beating a mid-table team thirty years earlier, a raffle that had help from the FA and crowdfunding?

That's the one. Shower of fucking wankers the lot of them. If Carlsberg did adverts about being tinpot....

You have to love the commentary line "He didn't see Peter Withe". The six foot something beefy bloke with the beard and the sweatbands. It's hardly 'Where's Wally'.

Who?

I remember seeing him play for Kaiserslautern against Bayern when I was interrailing as a student. The fact that he’s now 53 makes me feel old.

I am trying to work out what his surname sounds most like. A drum role or an intimate lady part.

I know it's petty, but after their antics a couple of years ago I really hope we pay for a billboard next to their shithole of a ground advertising the only place in Birmingham to watch Premier League football next year!!!

Which is appropriate as we are the only Birmingham club who have a ground big enough to be called a Premier League ground.
