Must be looking to avoid another embarrassing 8k gate.

Gayle charged with diving, likely 2 match ban which means he’ll miss the Villa game.
Justice!

Surprised by that, its absolutely the correct decusion but I haven't known many retrospective punishments for diving.

Can we get Trevor Francis charged for his blatant dive for a pen against us at St Andrex

If he doesn't accept it won't the outcome be delayed till after the Villa game? Be amazed if he accepts it and misses their cup final if that's the case.

It might work to our advantage if he does play on Saturday as the ref won't give him the benefit of any doubt now.

He dived on Boxing day 1980 at the City Ground playing for Forest against us to get a pen too.

As for Gayle's dive, depending on your personal view it was either the most spectacularly good or spectacularly  bad dive I have seen for a long time. He could have a career as a stuntman in the future the way he threw himself through the air. I think he earned himself half an 'air mile'.

Gayle has until 6pm to respond, can't find anywhere to suggest he has so far.

Seems so unfair to Forest and the league in general as the dive was a  game changer.

Now I know all teams benefit from cheating in some form but when you are found it and the individual punished

Can Trevor Francis also be retrospectively banned for his dive to to win a penalty against Scotland in about 1978 please? Scotland still won.

Trev may have bought a few cheap penalties in his playing career at Small Heath but he didn't have much luck with penalties when he was managing them in big games. Ain't Karma a bitch?

How any supposed Scotland fan could forget that said game was in 1977 is beyond me.
