Coventry v Exeter attracted 1,555. Fair play, it takes some effort to have an even shitter support than the team they groundshare with.

2nd home game of the new season, albeit in the EFL cup, with a new Manager, a couple of new players and playing same division opposition after a decent start with 4 points out of 6 in the league

And they draw 11,000+

Small time wankers
Official attendance was actually 10,704 so not even 11,000+.

I didn't know that. Even taking all of the circumstances into account that is shocking. Given that they must be bunging Small Heath a few quid for rent Coventry must be losing money hand over fist. I presume a lot are staying away in protest.

Yes, they've been staying away in protest pretty much since the day Villa relegated them.

I have lived in Leamington, which is geographically slap bang in the area from which Cov should draw support, for 15 years, and in that time I reckon I've seen less than 20 Coventry shirts in the town centre.

I did go to Warwick races recently and a few Herberts were singing a Cov song which had an uncomplimentary line about us which we let slide. A mistake as they were emboldened to start a chorus of SOTV , which we didn’t let slide

Still, kids supporting their local team so good on them. Up to a point.

More Villa in Warwickshire than Coventry. In my opinion.

I've been Highfield road on more than one occasion when we have outnumbered the home support

Albion have let me down on my bets a number of times this season already. Maybe I am jinxing them. If everyone on here wants me to continue doing so I might have to start a JustGiving page.

Their home form proving dodgy same as last season, play offs at best for them I'd have thought.

I note the BBC mentioned Albion applauded for their fan who died in Bulgaria last week and rightly so. I feel desperately sorry for his family. Had they been playing Villa I feel certain we would have joined in.

That said it requires reminding that when the whole country joined in with the supporting of our 19th minute applause for Petrov that season, only one club didn’t and many boo’d.

The Manure fans didn't respect the 19th minute for Petrov. I was a season ticket holder in the lower North stand at that time and close to the away fans.
