Man City, Chelsea and Spurs in their next 4 games...Huddersfield away could be their only chance of scraping some points.

Lovely stuff. They've had a kind start to the season with regards opposition so does seem the case to me they don't have enough points on the board for who they've played.

Premier league relegation battle really going to be cut throat this season. The 3 promoted teams could all stay up from what they've shown so we really need to get promoted as there could be a couple of established prem clubs getting relegated.

Hopefully they will sack Pullis - sure fire tactic to see them relegated.

The Baggies are in a mess at the moment so the longer Pullis stays in the job the more chance they have getting relegated I reckon. Can't believe their results have been so bad this season and the last few months of the previous season, yet they still aren't in the relegation places...the likes of West Ham, Swansea and Palace really need to get a grip of themselves.

It is very much a Pulis side with players brought in to suite that style. If they are going to start winning and start playing the sort of football the fans want it may take more than one transfer window under a new boss to change things.

Gone now according to the usually reliable John Percy on Twitter.

Gary Megson back in charge, even for a little bit, is hilarious 😂

Going from Tony "short passes are for girls" Pulis straight to Brendan Rodgers would be the most ill thought out change of manager since, well... any Villa managerial appointment this decade.

Would be no biggie even if they got him. Talked a good game but nothing more than that at Liverpool and anyone could manage Celtic to success.

A bit harsh. He got far closer to the title than any other Liverpool manager this century, did excellently at Swansea to get the Liverpool job in the first place and, while I agree that winning the league with Celtic is no great achievement, you can't underestimate winning a treble and going nearly seventy unbeaten.

He's still about as far as you can get from Pulis though so would be a risky appointment.

Think Small Heath's decision to replace Rowett for Zola takes that accolade for the precise reason you pinpoint!
