Quality statement, always disliked them since 1994 though. "the luckiest team in the world".

It's Bromsgrove Rovers related, jammy bastards scored twice in the last few minutes to win 2-1 in the FA Cup third round at the Vic. After the game their manager Viv Anderson called his team "the luckiest in the world". It was the same day Kiddy won at the Sty which was causing much merriment to us Villa fans, until those last few minutes. Then it kicked off around Bromsgrove after the game. Halcyon days.

Ah ok.  Thanks.   Had a great away night at oakwell singing the oakwell clapping song I think we won 1-0 in the 90s.

I remember going to Oakwell in the League Cup. I think it was an early two legged tie in the BFR days and I think we won both legs 1-0.

I just checked and I was right apart from the fact it was the Dr Jo season not BFR's first season as I originally thought.

I think it was Tony Daley's goal after Taggert's mistake.

Is the final decision not still pending an appeal from Wigan?
