I got the Liverpool one wrong as well.
The rest were pretty easy.
I did well on the Blur questions but it did help that I'm reading the Alex James book at the moment.

I got them all right though they were pretty easy to be honest. It retained my kudos in front of the family though I think to be honest they were more amazed to find out we had ever won anything or beaten teams like Barcelona

I got the Birmingham City league cup question wrong and forgot it was Besiktas in the European Cup. I dunno how I got the Blues question wrong, I went for Ipswich cos I remembered Platty scoring 4 or so vs them in that competition at one time.

I remember that blues game. We had Ormondroyd doing near post flick ons from corner kicks and blues had someone about 2 foot shorter to mark him. 2 or 3 of the goals were scored that way.

I got more than Katharine Merry did on the Villa questions, not bad considering I've only been a fan since 1993. I only got two less than Josh Widdicombe on the Blur questions, and I got the same amount of Black Books questions right as the contestant for that. I was hopeless on the Russel Wallace questions, but then again Nick Baker didn't do much better. I think they set easier questions for the celebrity editions, though, and does anyone know how much the nominated charities gain from their patrons' performances? Do they get a sum per point, or is there a set donation to the winner's charity and a smaller one for the other three?

Just watched this back on the Iplayer and got 10 correct answers. I'd said Valur instead of Besiktas when I really should've known better. Also got the runner-up to the scousers by how many points question wrong.

I watched it on Iplayer and only got the Liverpool one wrong.

The period that the questions covered relate to a time when the Villa was the single most important thing in my life. If the questions were to cover the last 10 years then I reckon I'd only get half right.

It must be a Chris thing, I thought it was Valur.

I also watched on the iPlayer and like most of you, the only question that I got wrong was the points behind Liverpool one.

Also, Barie Hole used to go out with my cousin when he was at the Villa.

Baring in mind I was only born in '81, I was happy with how many I got right. I got a couple that she didn't get and it was meant to be her specialist subject.
