Same with Joleon Lescott.

The absolute best thing about Lescott was that he had a good scoring record against us, and would always make a point of really over the top celebrations in front of our fans.

Right up to the day he scored their equaliser to make it 2-2 at Goodison, only for Ashley Young to then make him look a total fucking mug, run up the other end of the pitch and make it 3-2 with the last kick of the game.

What a great match that was.

Lescott's "D'oh!" face afterwards was superb.

I was with Bryan Hughes tonight (ex blues) really nice bloke, spoke very highly of Villa park and he is a lifelong Everton fan, and he said to me the one thing he wanted to do was score at Goodison and celebrate scoring.....

I heard a funny story about him.

Go on..... I heard a few last night, he was doing a Q&A with Dean Windass.

Well Sturridge said in the paper before the Germany game, that his dad had home videos of him playing football in his back garden in his Villa kit.I played against his dad, very good player, at Bloose under Ron Saunders if i remember.

I knew someone who was very friendly with Bryan Hughes cleaner when he lived in the Midlands. You would think I might know a few stories. But I don't.

Stan is Villa - listen to him on Talk Shite. He still is a bellend though, loves sound of his own voice, takes him ages to make a point.

There were some great days in the mon era and the win at goodison and the way we got it was right up there - to go from desolation to elation in the space of a minute was fantastic - I will never forget that feeling .

Wasn't it the giant Klingon's slip that let Ash in too?  Priceless.

As for Collywobbles, I'm not a fan of the bloke.

But unless this is some elaborate ruse, I'd be fairly certain he's one of us:

I know a girl who reckons she shagged Andy Johnson in a Birmingham hotel, whilst Hughes sat on the couch cracking one off.

The zany world of professional football, eh?

My take on Collymore is

- he's definitely a Villa fan, and the more of them there are in the media, the better
- we didn't get anything like the best out of him
- we used to give him plenty of stick, I'm not surprised he reacted
- he's had his problems and continues to struggle with them, had our manager at the time been a bit more enlightened, maybe we'd have got more out of him
- he's not a bad broadcaster at all.

Did Andy Johnson pretend to celebrate in front of the Holte End afterwards?

Agree on all points

When Stan said he had problems all i ever heard was "What with his money?"
Just goes to show how material things dont matter a jot at times
