In his tweet the word May is capitalized. Does he mean to emphasize may and lower expectations, or suggest the month of May which in truth is too late however welcome it will be to see him?

If he does come back I don't expect anything but still good to hear.

When did he do his ACL? September wasn't it? Hope he isn't rushed back.

I'd be tempted to write him off for the season - unless we're in a relegation dog fight - and let him get properly fit and ease him back slowly.

If Doug were still in charge you'd be forgiven for questioning the timing of this.

Good news his recovery is on track.

I think it's just autocorrect on his phone.

I dream the other night that he was fit in January, so it's nice to see he's making better progress, if only because it clearly means a lot to him.

I think he'll be back in training well before the end of the season, but it can take a while to get back up to speed after this injury so if he's ready to play or not is a different matter, he could be back for 7-8 games or not make it at all this year, it's one of those injuries where it's really difficult to know.

PL confirmed in B'ham Mail that Jores is doing "great" with his recovery and is targetting a return within 2 months. Great News! Especially after Kozak's awful injury.

Well as long as he doesn't rush it then that's excellent. And will probably kaboosh any move for a CB this window.

His agent confirmed that he will resume light training in just 3 weeks time.

With his age, I really hope they take it slowly. And we should still look to get another experienced centre half to cover Vlaar and allow Okore to come back in his own good time.

Amazing recovery in just 4 months from such a serious injury!

Agree completely for his and team's sake.

I'd rather he misses the rest of the season than we try and be clever and bring him back too soon.

Was thinking the same. Four months for an ACL does seem very short.
