I can understand booing at full time occasionally.

I can never understand booing at half time.

Would you expand on your rebuttal?

Would you expand on your rebuttal?

I think I already have on two separate threads, but I'll add a bit more.

I believe that if you pay good money to watch your team, then provided it isn't violent, intimidating, racist, homophobic etc, then you have the right to air your opinion.

I say this as someone who has never boo'd at half time, as I don't think it would usually achieve much. I do however, understand the reaction as up until today we had lost 4 out of 5 home games and by half time were on a run of 4.5 games without even so much as scoring a goal.

Had it finished a drab 0-0, would there be a clamour to condemn the boos at half time?

I think we all obviously care about the club and result - to call someone a disgrace for expressing their frustration is too strong a comment in my opinion .

The fans have been very patient this season but I can understand why some voiced their displeasure - it was bright opening 15 minutes but pretty poor the rest of the half.

You can express your opinion without booing. We all shout at players and complain, but leave booing the Villa to those that don't support the Villa

The only time I've ever booed either a Villa player or a team performance at VP is after I'd applauded Alpay when he scored for us. He then placed his finger to his lips in a 'shush' motion. Also, THAT Bolton game in TSM years. From 1-0 up to 1-2 down in the time it took me to send a text as to how relieved I was that we were in the lead.

Yes and no. Before my time attending matches but not before supporting our club and hating that weasel for what he did when I really looked up to him.

First half was fucking shit. We've had a lot of shit this season at home...if I persistently do shit at work I will get told. Booing isn't nice but writing a letter takes time.
