Peter Broadbent has died at the age of 80 following a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.The inside forward scored 145 goals in 497 appearances for the Molineux side after joining from Brentford for a then club record fee of £10,000 in 1951.Broadbent helped Wolves win the Football League title in 1954, 1958 and 1959 and the FA Cup in 1960, and was part of England's 1958 World Cup squad.He joined Shrewsbury in 1965 and had spells at Aston Villa and Stockport.Broadbent won a total of seven caps for England, scoring twice.
