I have no idea how we're going to cope without him. Hope it's not serious, we can't afford to be without him for a couple of months.

I thought it was a hip flexor and only a week out. Toronto promised  :(

Will the premier league allow us to replace Benteke with both Helenius AND Kozack?

Well on Saturday we won 1-0 without him, so hopefully we'll be okay for a bit.

Like I said it depends how serious. Sorry, I've suffered one and in doing so did a little research. One of those injuries that is painful and it will really come down to the grade of the injury. It can be a couple weeks at least properly recover from it. I reckon he'll miss two games, maybe three if it isn't too bad.

Considering the game on Tuesday he may well have been rested anyway, and if there was a home game I would choose him to miss it would be next week, the timing of a 4-5 week injury may not actually be that bad. Hull away would be the big miss for me, it is a realistic opportunity to win, and he would have been fun against them. He might be back for that yet though... fingers crossed, although I doubt we will risk him, and I would hope Belgium would then leave him out and he would be fully fit going into Spurs and Everton at home, 2 very tough back to back games.

The international break couldn't be coming up at a better time.

If he's out till Mid October, it's only 2 league games.

In a weird way, at the moment I'd rather benteke out and kozak in for him than lose gabby. He seems to have his best games when he really needs to.

I saw that aswell, not sure what they are basing it on though, only repeated Lambert's post-match quotes, no new information?

I don't know. It wasn't a great performance by us and Norwich were pretty poor. I'll take the three points every time though!

Saturday seems too soon to me.  I doubt PL will rush him back and take any risks.

Don't want to alarm anybody, but, news from Bodymoor is that Benteke may be out for up to two months, depending how he responds to heavy treatment.
