Without meaning to sound arrogant, they are like lottery winners and we're "old money".

Class will rise to the top again !

Jon - it does make you sound arrogant, but it’s funny how that stuff riles them. We all know it’s a piss take.

I actually met a Wolves fan the other day. I asked him if they still only had two of their stands open and he was literally speechless until he managed to splutter out the words "that was years ago". I carried on feigning ignorance.

There certainly seem to be a lot more Wolves shirts out and about this season than I think I have ever seen before!!  You know what - good luck to them as they have done it well and got it right.  Big test for them will be in the next few transfer windows as there a number of Sky's 'big six' who you would have thought will be looking to strengthen (Arsenal, Spurs and Manchester United definitely will be) and they will certainly be looking at some of the players who are currently doing well at Wolves.

I work with a nose and a dingle. On Monday they couldn't wait to tell me that blues,Albion and wolves had all been singing the same song about the villa which related to the cabbage incident. I told them that they are both like the fat ugly bloke who is obsessed by a woman who is way out of their league. They have absolutely no chance with her and to rub salt into their wounds she would never acknowledge they exist as she has her sights set on much better things.

Good response. I usually keep mine a lot shorter 😉

Reminding them that we get more fans on a rainy Tuesday night against Preston than their grounds hold usually does the trick.  Molineux holds a bit more now they've built that Lego looking extension to one of the stands, but they are still only getting 30,000.

Do they think this will offend us?

It warms the cockles of my heart to know they would rather sing about us than support their own team!

Sad twats. I’m trying to work out if they truly believe that’s supposed to be taking the piss?

I think exactly as with the Rotherham at home one, they thought they were taking the piss, but Villa fans had T-shirts with it on! I am pretty sure both songs were invented by Villa fans!
That kind of self-deprecation doesn’t fir with their ‘arrogant’ narrative though does it?

Indeed. With a few little tweaks we could sing it ourselves. I'm just surprised the Obsessed with the Villa clubs don't realise we've never played in Rome.
