As much as we've all slagged the phone in off on here they've done a really emotional phone in/tribute to big Cyrille tonight, don't think I've ever heard so many people call in tears.
So sad but a great tribute.

I have to agree. Regardless what you think about this show I thought last nights tribute was spot on. The interviews with Darren Moore and Gary Thompson highlighting the love and respect they had for Cyrille were particularly touching.

Hearing Brendan Batson break down right at the end of his interview on WM this morning set me off too!

Keith Wyness is a guest on Friday evening between 6 and 7.  Might be an interesting listen.

Caught the last 5 minutes tonight.  Cue Josh the Blues fan - "If Redknapp was still in charge we'd not be in the bottom half.  We'd not be in the top half but we'd be in a better position than we are now...".

That caller couldn't have been a genuine nose. Firstly he makes a sensible point* and secondly there is no mention of the Villa.

*By that I mean despite him wording it wrong I get what he meant. I don't know if that means I am just used to bluenose gobbledygook or if I should be worried that I understand it/agree with him.

I read that and made a note of it on the back of my hand.

Then thought to myself how long it had been since I wrote something on the back of my hand.

Did I just hear Wyness claim we were in for Robin van Persie a few weeks ago but dropped the idea?

You did. For footballing reasons. Maybe those being Hogan has come alive and RVP's knees are fecked.

Seems like the Upper Trinity will be opening more as crowds are growing. We've gone from an estimated 27-28,000 for tomorrow to 32,000.

They’re not overly concerned by FFP.

It was on in the background and I thought I was hearing things. I honestly don’t think much needs to change in the squad this month as it’s good enough to take 2nd spot and promotion as it is.
Glad to hear about the Upper Trinity, we’ve got some big games second half of the season and the fans will play a big part in it.

Not so sure it was a good idea for him to reveal transfer targets even if they decided not to go ahead with it.  I'd have thought that should be up to the manager, not the CEO.

He mentioned there's been quite a lot planning gone into re-building the North stand and similarly developing the local area for a city centre style experience.
