They said he was surly to their reporters afterwards and that he's a bad loser.

Good. I like him even more then.

They're such idle twats they can't handle anyone who doesn't hand them a story on a plate.

Given how the rest of the press view Sherwood I'd suggest WM are wrong about him rather than them being the only ones who are right.

It's almost as if they want to have a moan about us about something.

When we win the semi-final it will be some bull like '' is the cup run in danger of sending Villa down?''

I know it's the modern way now that football is the media's whore but if you stick a microphone in anyone's face minutes after something they are responsible for has gone so publically wrong you can't expect a reasoned response. I'm amazed that most managers give them anything they can use. In fact I guess these days some of the media is just looking for opportunities to be indignant -I bet the phrase "Would you bet against us?" would  today be recieved as somehow personally insulting to the interviewer?

They were trying to spin the Albion result as a good one because with Man City having 42 shots and 80% of the ball "it could have been 6 or 7". They also spun them taking about 500 again as "good support" for the above reason that "it could have been 6 or 7".

I'm sick and tired of having good losers as Villa manager. I want them to be fucked off every bit as me when we lose. I want to know that he's probably giving to his players too and not suggesting we've been brilliant on the back of a 4-0 defeat. For better or worse he displays his emotions and much as he was a player passionate about the game. I like that and if it means sticking to those numpties at WM even better.

That's exactly what it'd be like, too.

Anyone unfamiliar with WM and their relationship with Villa would probably stumble on this thread, read some of the stuff said and think we were nuts and imagining it, but they really, genuinely are like that.
