They must be sighing with relief at the Baggies win though. At least they can have something to talk about now.

Franksy must have been in tears today.

He was spouting "will Albion be the Midlands top dogs this season" tonight.

I turned on, heard him say "Four goals for Aston Villa...it was only four goals in their previous 14 away games" and turned off again. It might be true, but why be so backhanded with your compliments?

They can't help it. WM is dominated by Baggie and Bluenoses who just can't stand the Villa and it just shines through

I'm not sure they've got than many Noses. They just have a clear anti-Villa agenda which goes back years and has accelerated since Martin O'Neill left.

I think we shouldn't be overly sensitive with Franksy's comments. I think it shows what a shockingly bad manager Lambert was.

Good point and also it proves that the majority of the posters on this site were absolutely correct- the problem was not the squad of players it was the complete absence of any coaching or tactical ability from the management. A case in point is that Sherwood and his team have spent time this week coaching Bacuna in how to play at full back.

And still it goes on.

When one of the graphics can't even spell 'shooting accuracy', erm, accurately, it shows their standards.

If I remember rightly he claimed to be a Villa fan in an interview (possibly with Dave W in the H & V fanzine).

He denies it outright but there's evidence that he is, or rather was.

I think it was him commentating on WM on Saturday, when Sinclair missed that sitter, shouting "That was WORSE than Ideye's in the cup match!" As if anyone cares.

Villa pummeling a fellow team in trouble, in a six pointer, leading 2-0 at the time must have been killing him.

He definitely indicated he was in that "Talking About You" interview in an old H&V.

Whoever wrote that is a total moron. Just a quick scan has thrown up "comparisson" "shotting" and that of the two strikers, Brown has "conceded less goals".
