Some dodgy Roger Harding commentary here on 2 minutes.

Trethewey. They gave him the graveyard shift.

I know, I just wanted Damo to type his name in again.

I tuned into a bit of the "phone in with no callers" the other day and was glad to hear Peter Withe on there, one of only a few that deserve the term legend.

He must be back from the far east.

It went downhill when they started using Malcolm Boyden on match days. They'd have been better off using Bob Brolly.

Did Tony Leighton go to a media job at Small Heath after the radio?

Peter Withe was in the press box against Bournmouth, not sure who he was working for.

Franksey said last night that albion pay more for players than we do.

I gave up on the football coverage on WM when Franks started a discussion on Delph's England call up by posing a question along the lines of "if Fabian Delph is in the England squad then should Craig Gardner be in there as well?".  He's just on a massive wind up.

I can't even begin to take someone seriously when they say stuff like that.

I don't know why anyone listens to WM. People talk about the way the BBC doesn't spend anything like as much as they should in the west midlands, and they're right, but almost as bad is the fact that they fund WM, which is basically an embarassing trolling operation.

Is there another local BBC station anywhere in the country which is so unsupportive of their biggest club?

Yep, instead of congratulating Delph for his call up and acknowledging it was generally a positive thing for football in the area the station represents, he had to shoehorn his pathetic Albion agenda into it.  Needless to say Villa weren't mentioned when Berahino got called up.

The other morning they were slagging off us getting in Scott Sinclair on loan as pointless and then seconds later eulogising the fact that Albion were spending millions on a bloke from a team who are cut adrift in the Championship relegation zone.

The only time I ever went to a panto the 'stars' were Karl Howman, Marilyn from Home And Away, the tall blonde bloke from The Bill who ended up as a doctor who was shagging Maxine in Corrie and Malcolm Boyden.

I was watching Stourbridge today and talk turned to WM. As one Stour fan, who has no interest in any league club, said; "They don't seem to like the Villa very much."

How is Stourbridge's loan signing George Bowerman getting on?

I think he ran out of parts of the far east to work in. He has been on an extensive tour of there for years.

Fans ringing up begging Peter Withe  to replace Lambert, quite surreal.
