I listened to it on the way home I think it was yesterday.  They had the West Midland legend Martin O'Connor on.  I presume they weren't paying him by the word, given that he spent the entire time either saying yeh, no, or fcuk all.

And it is true, they have about ten callers that rotate each night.  Literally that is all that ring in.  The same ten.  And Sneekes voice gets on my tayters, patronising prick.

Having a quick listen before i leave for the game. Apparently if Albion win today they can leapfrog Villa. They could have said they can go 4th but there you go.

We'll see how good the stripey divs are after they've played four title challengers in a row.

He's not the most vocally gifted but I will defend him purely on the grounds of being one of my favourite Bromsgrove Rovers players :-) before he got his pro break at Palace

Chris Hanks and The Big Mal were my faves. How many star players build part of the home ground like Hanksy did? I only recently found out that Dunkley had died in 2005. Was gutted.

Didn't know that, shocking, quality player too.

Great team, Richardson, Webb & Burgher were my faves...the days of goals, goals, goals.

Did anyone hear the Irish bloke who rang up earlier in support of the 39th game?  He reckoned that the Stripeyfilth and Leicester would fill out an 85k Croke Park.

All i was waiting for was 'There's more to oireland than dis'.

Only just seen this.  I'm sorry to hear about Mal Dunkley's passing.  I refereed him on several occasions for different teams.  May he rest in peace.

To be fair over the last 3 years I've based my opinion on the Villa largely on the media. I then went to a game or two when back home to find that it was exactly as I'd seen/read/heard.

Off at a tangent slightly, does anyone else think that BBC Midlands Today seems to be biased towards/much more interested in Stoke than in any other local club?
