I thought not slagging off Mr Tumble was the sacking offence.

As he still got Sarah Jane as his "friend" by watch way.  I'm sure she was placed to make to encourage dads to watch with the kids.

I heard it for two minutes. A Villa fan went through all our season stats except points then said he thought the bump he'd just heard was Villa fans coming back to earth. Callme could barely contain his joy.

Exactamundo. Does he expect me to not believe that it's actually him who is grandad tumble etc? Does he think I'm some sort of thick twat?

The best thing we can do is to totally ignore them..radio WM doesn't affect the taste of my breakfast so I'm not really bothered by them.

It is bizarre though...I'm not asking for total one eyed impartiality regarding us (especially not with what we've produced over the last four years) but it always does feel when we get a good result or have a good run there's always a negative slant to it...yet Fransky and his minions can't wait to big up the others when they win.

I also get the feeling stations like BBC Manchester and Liverpool are more supportive of their clubs when they hit bad runs although you don't quite get the gulf between the teams you do down here so difficult to measure.

Franksy though is a total joke of a present nowadays. He wasn't too bad when I first started listening to the station in the late 90s but seriously to start asking how many Villa players would get in the WBA team after they beat Burnley who are the whipping boys this season strikes me nothing more than a continual wind up from him.

Ooooh, Sarah-Jane...I read years ago the producers on Tikkabilla made her tape her tits down to reduce the size.

Over the years I've done things for the BBC stations in both cities and you hear a few minutes of the programme before you go on. Merseyside used to have a really good and balanced presenter and Manchester are as totally biased in favour of their clubs as you'd expect. Neither are as critical when they lose as yes, but... when they win as WM are to us.

She was quite "perky" as I recall.

Just read my original post again.  I'm impressed you could understand it.  Load of dribbling gibberish!
