Tom Ross is more a radio show host / anchor.

Growing up, it always used to be a commentator (I remember Ian Crocker - the guy who is on SKY now) with Tom doing the hosting and summarising job. Don't know if the commentary was something he wanted to do or was asked to do, but without wanting to sound unkind, he's not great in that role.
WM was on again in the car at lunchtime. Has anyone ever heard that treasure hunt type programme with wilford. Basically they get clues read by a poor darth Vader impersonator and have to fathom where the radio car needs to head to to get to the secret location. It's quite hilarious listening if only for the fact that ten minutes from the end of the programme they realise they are in Smethwick and should actually have been at Sutton Park. And also for the dimwits phoning in suggesting place names from the clues that have absolutely no link to said clues whatsoever.
